“Together, we believe boldness is not a personality trait. It’s a leadership practice that can be learned.” – Amy Lahmers

In the summer of 2025, I attended a colleague’s book launch. During the event, a question was posed to the audience about overcoming fear and leading with impact. My colleague and friend, Tonya Tiggett, a leadership curriculum author and speaker, was also present and she made a compelling case for unapologetic boldness. I subsequently advocated for humble boldness, a leadership approach grounded in confidence, courage, and kindness, while inviting dialogue, yet having the ability to stand firm in one's values.
Our complementary perspectives, unapologetic boldness and humble boldness, sparked a follow-up rich and meaningful conversation about what bold leadership looks like for women today. I emphasized humility as a leadership strength that builds trust and credibility, while Tonya championed unapologetic boldness as a catalyst for women’s advancement and visibility.
Inspired by the energy of the dialogue, we decided to co-host a webinar in December 2025 titled Leading with Boldness, an interactive experience designed to help women uncover or reclaim their boldness without sacrificing authenticity, credibility, or emotional intelligence.
Turning Insight into Action
To extend the learning from the webinar, and to invite deeper personal reflection, we co-authored a
white paper. The white paper has two purposes:
To recap the key takeaways from our webinar on why boldness matters for women leaders, and
To equip you with a practical, strategic framework: the 4-Step BOLD Leadership Reset for 2026
You can download the paper, here:
Here’s a Preview of the Four Steps:
Name the Goal
Assess the Risk and Focus on the Possibilities
