Strengthening a Mission-Driven Non-Profit
We supported a mission-driven non-profit organization with a comprehensive three-phase project to enhance their internal operations and position them for future growth. We began with an organizational assessment, diving deep into the structure, processes, and culture to identify opportunities for improvement. To gain a full picture, we conducted an employee engagement culture survey, which helped us understand the team’s perspectives and pinpoint areas for development. The next step involved leading focus group discussions with staff to validate findings, gather insights, and foster open communication. These conversations empowered the team to contribute to shaping the organization's future. Following the assessment phase, we partnered with leadership to provide ongoing HR and people support. We offered expert guidance on compliance with new labor laws, updated policies, and refined procedures to ensure legal and operational alignment. One of the critical elements of this partnership was our leadership in the search process for several key hires. By identifying candidates who aligned with the organization's mission and culture, we positioned the non-profit for ongoing success. Today, they are thriving, with a solid foundation for continued growth and impact.

Leading a Ministry Team Through a Strengths-Based Approach
A recent highlight of our work was leading a retreat focused on leveraging a strengths-based approach to leadership and collaboration. This retreat with a faith-based organization created space for meaningful conversations about how to recognize, appreciate, and utilize each team member’s unique strengths and work styles. By facilitating discussions around these differences, we helped teams not only deepen their understanding of one another but also unlock new ways to work together more effectively. This approach enhanced collaboration, improved communication, and fostered a more inclusive and productive work environment where every team member felt valued and empowered to contribute. This retreat enabled the team to harness their collective strengths for greater success and cohesion.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of guiding numerous professionals. We recently worked with a passionate business owner who was feeling stuck, unsure how to inspire her team or move the business forward. Through one-on-one leadership coaching, we helped her shift her mindset to “above the line” thinking—taking ownership, fostering curiosity, and leading with vision instead of reactivity.
